Elevators excessive wait time upwards 20 minutes to get one. Absurd amount of questions on check in ID’s for all occupants we had 3 rooms email for each individual, phone and addresses for all we had minors with us DOB

Not one of my favorite places to stay in NYC. The room was extremely small for the price. The elevator service was a nightmare. Spent 15 to 20 minutes each time we had to use it. You had to go to the first floor to go to the 5th floor for breakfast. The breakfast wasn’t great. I really wanted to like this place more but didn’t.

Good size room. Very comfy bed and good soft pillows. Breakfast is great but gets very busy. Get there just before 7am or after 9am to avoid queues. Great selection of food. Very central location. Only came across 1 disinterested staff member but everyone else was happy and friendly.

The room was meant to sleep 5 at most. But with a frosted glass bathroom door and completely clear glass shower door, it was impossible to have more than one person get ready for bed at a time. There was a mini fridge but no microwave and no coffee pot in the room. I have never been to a hotel without complimentary coffee yet none was to be found. We stayed one night and our keys stopped working the second day well before checkout. I had to go back to the lobby to get new keys. They didn't work either. Back to the lobby for a third set of keys. They didn't work either so they sent a staff member to open the door for us. The hotel was quiet, clean, and safe. They also hold your bags before and after your reservation so you can tour the town without luggage.

We stayed at the Riu Plaza Manhattan Time Square on our first visit to NYC. We visited the first weekend in December to see all the special Christmas highlights of the city. We chose this hotel because of the central location to things we wanted to see and because the room could accommodated 4 of us with two large queen sized beds. The Hotel served our purpose and was a good location.
