We (my sister & I) liked everything about the Ameritania Hotel Times Square. It's located only steps away from the heart of Times Square, & the Broadway District; so we were able to walk to many of our destinations without having to spend too much on rideshares / taxis. The hotel is an older property, however accommodations were nice & modern. In addition the front desk staff was quick to resolve an issue (caused by Expedia) during my check in.. Kudos to Shay!!

Perfect location for a tourist however, the AC wasn't working properly, we had to open the windows at night. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The bathroom in the lobby needed to clean more often, look more like a public restroom than a $400 a night hotel.

This hotel was in a great location and easy subway access. It was clean and served its purpose for our trip. New York is noisy in general and our room was pretty noisy. Just bring we mask and ear plugs. It did the trick for us. Great place to stay.

A nice and reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location that is walking distance to many iconic NYC locations including Times Square. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

This property is located in the heart of Times Square. The walk was about 10 minutes and roughly 7-8 blocks (which are very short). The rooms are nicely designed and spacious. The bed was super comfy and we slept great. The shower (rain shower head) was equally inviting and the water was perfectly warm in the 55 degree weather. However, the toilet sits extremely low and a bit small. Housekeeping came daily and provided us with extra waters daily (very important to us). On the downside, the hotel does not offer breakfast nor a restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free happy hour nightly but the wine selection was poor, literally either a red blend or Chardonnay however, a nice touch.

Great location! Right near Times Square, it did what it needed to do, basic room but was perfect just for sleeping, not spending the whole day there anyways, you’ll be walking Times Square! Would recommend!

The hotel was conveniently located just a few blocks from the train station. While the room was very clean and cozy with a comfortable bed, the windows were unfortunately not soundproof, no refrigerator. Hope I wasn’t charged for the water.. The doorman and receptionist could have been more welcoming. Overall, it was an okay experience.
