"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, that it's in Taiwan, where expectations of hotels is low makes that even more impressive! The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening. "Property is located up a very steep slope. Would be a workout to lug your baggages up if u are not driving. I am impressed with the cleanliness but disappointed with the staff service. No extra pillow available when requested."

"Staff is great, very responsive, curteous, and helpful. I give the staff 5 stars. The room is however missing some essentials like toothbrush toothpaste and slipper. The shower is leaking water to the bathroom floor. But the view is amazing and the room is beautiful!"

"Service is excellent- staff are friendly and helpful. Room is quite spacious. Breakfast is basic, as in most minsu. Hotel is rather old and bedroom floor is rather dusty. No hand soap or hand towels provided. Location is right next to the Ita Thaoqlake and just 3 minutes walk to old street and pier. Room rates pricey considering the condition of the room and facilities."

"This property (also called Sun Moon Lake Home Hotel on some maps services) was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room and bathroom were both spacious and in excellent condition. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Parking for the hotel is at a lot very close by (the staff will help direct you); there is a very small fee per night that grants you unlimited access in and out of that lot. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I booked the hotel on the same day of arrival. The owner waited me and sent me many WhatsApp messages before I arrived with instructions. The hotel is very clean and quiet, close to the ship dock . Do not forget to ask the owner for discount tickets for local tourist activities. "

Spacious, clean and comfortable

"The deluxe quadruple room, with lake view, is spacious and clean. The bathroom is fitted with Japanese toilet with bidet functions, adjustable settings for water pressure and a heated seat. There is a bathtub and a separate shower beside it. There is a balcony that offers great view of the lake. The room exceeded my expectations. For breakfast buffet, it’s just a 1-minute walk to the Richforest hotel nearby. The spread of the breakfast buffet was decent and service was good. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay."
