"Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. "Very nice place. We had a lake view with a balcony. Even though it's an old building with radiator heating (no thermostat control, but you can control with the knob). The room was pretty spacious. It was very clean. It's located on a shopping street by the lake, lots of restaurants and shops around. The only thing was laundry service was cash only (CHF15 per small basket). If you need to borrow a charge adaptor the deposit is also cash. "

"The hotel was good overall. The walk up the hill from the train station was challenging with luggage. When we arrived, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to check us in. The sign at the desk advised we could call, however as we only had a data plan, we couldn’t. I walked the stairs and eventually found someone who could call the number. The small lift was helpful, and our room was big enough for a family of four. The beds were comfy, and the shower was good, though the room felt a bit dark....
