"It was a good one night stay at Residence Hotel. The man at the reception area was nice and helpful. It was pretty close to a nice restaurant, nothing much else in the area. Breakfast was pretty good especially the homemade pastries and we were also able to get made to order eggs. Unfortunately when we got to breakfast they weren't replenishing much of the other stuff so we just got the leftovers."

"Hotel is perfectly located directly across from the main train station, a 10 minute walk to both the main bus station and central square in Zagreb. The hotel is in good decor condition. The room allocated was spacious, clean and comfortable. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided by the hotel was good with hot and cold options available. It would have been nice to have had a complementary bottle of water as the hotel did not have any vending machines. "

"Nice hotel, good central location. Hotel appears to be rigid on 3pm check in. No offer of welcome drink as noted in other reviews, must be discontinued. Had room facing main street but no significant noise concerns. Room size very good, bed and pillows comfortable, bathroom fine but fan a bit noisy and always on when light activated. Empty fridge and kettle provided. Only cappuccino sachets and fruit teas provided, but also a choice of a breakfast tea would be nice. Good size safe. Breakfast...
