"Their website mentions a tax of 25Dirhams/night but i was charged 30Dirhams/night for 2 nights. The staff who checked me in showed no interest in explaining points of interest around the accommodation. The staff kept turning the AC off even though the tenperatures were in excess of 35deg celcius. Negatives aside the property is very clean. Beds very comfy. Locker provided. No towels or body wash provided so bring your own. If getting off at the train station, tax a cab to Bab Doukkala & walk 5...

Riad Dia - Hostel
2.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (24)
"Booked 5 nights in Morocco. Had trouble finding it at first, anyone looking to book here its down a little back street via a tunnel. Initial thoughts wasn't too promising, lots of rubbish outside. I booked 5 nights however night 2-4 I would be away on a desert tour, which I explained to the guy and he said okay. The rooms are very basic as you'd probably imagine for a budget hostel, however there is no excuses for some of the taps having no running water or soap, some of the beds not having plug...

Majorelle Hostel
1.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (9)
"This hostel is a solid choice. Good value for money. The owners are very nice and helpful, excellent to book local tour, cooking classes or massage with. The only downside is they say breakfast is served at 7.45, so you can have it before a 8am tour, but breakfast rarely begins before 8.30. It's is also located right next to the main square, which is a great location, but in return you have to put up with the early call to prayer. Nonetheless, anywhere this close to the main square would have...

"Pls don’t book this riad. This is the worst place I’ve stayed at in all of my travels. So, I booked this riad a month ago and messaged the property thru travelocity that I would like to request for an airport pick up. The property replied and confirmed. My flight arrived at 12midnight and I was looking for the sign from the drivers waiting at the arrival area and couldn’t find my name. Thank God there’s wifi even outside the airport so i called the property via whatsapp. The guy who answered...

"When I checked in I had to pay the local fees on top of the amount I paid for the room, which os standard. Except their credit card machine wasn’t working and they had no change. I didn’t have huge bills, and paid cash with the next bill up from what was owed. They said they’d have change for me later that night. I also paid a deposit for a towel and was told I would get it back when I returned the towel. Every time I went to the front desk after check-in no one was there, nor was there any...
