"The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a fantastic view. The bed was super-comfortable. The meals were all excellent and there was lots of variety. Reservations weren’t required at the restaurants and we never had to wait to get in. The entertainment was spectacular, especially the circus show (although they could dial the volume down a notch from ear-splitting to just loud). We enjoyed the activities such as sea kayaking, volleyball, and pool exercise. The beach is uncrowded, beautiful with calm water, and you can take long walks, unlike many places in PV. We also took advantage of the spa and had great massages at a reasonable price. But the best part was the super-friendly, attentive, and competent staff. Although they were working hard, they seemed to be having so much fun that it was almost like they were fellow vacationers. Unfortunately, I have forgotten many of their names, but Kevin and Antonio on the activities staff, anf Henri on the waitstaff of the Mexican restaurant stand out. My only complaint was the loud music that played throughout the resort, often late into the night. This was especially true the first few days we were there. I guess it’s to be expected at a Hard Rock Hotel, but at times when we wanted to just enjoy the calm beach or relax and read by the pool it was distracting. Later in the week it wasn’t as much of a problem — I’m not sure if we just got used to it or it just varies throughout the week. All in all, we had a great time."

"We have been using this resort for 25 years because it is small, quiet, great staff, and relaxing. Yes, the property is a bit dated but the rooms are fine and the beds comfortable. We will continue to take our winter vacations here because we are happy here!"

"We had such a fantastic family vacation here! Great for families with little kids. Kids club was awesome, park to play on, the pools were fantastic, beach was perfect, nice and shallow for the kids, we rode bikes to town one day. Shows and events going on everyday. Beach party and pool party were our favourites. My daughter was so excited to see Elsa at a show in the evening. Unfortunately there wasn’t much availability for the restaurants so we were able to eat at those but the buffets had different options everyday so we never got bored of the food. Lots of options for the kids! "

"I liked the staff. In paticular Marco, Edgar, Manuel, Alejandro and Adrian. The only thing that could be better is night life. Have the pool bars open later would be nice."
