"Excellent Period property. As an older building we were unsure what to expect but it’s immaculate throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and we were delighted to be checked in 3 hours prior to the arranged time. Couldn’t be more conveniently located a minute walk from the castle and the Main Street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. "We were greeted on arrival by a very welcoming young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Stayed to eat some lunch, service was friendly and efficient. After a wander round Lancaster, back to our room for showers and a change. Bathroom was clean, toiletries to hand and enough towels for the two of us. We had a quick drink before heading off for our evening meal, the bar was busy but didn’t have to wait very long.
