"The resort is on a stunning tip of the island and the snorkeling is fantastic. This is our main reason for the hotel. The breakfast was good and provided different foods for all tastes. We enjoyed cocktails and the shuttle was handy for any trips to the town. Our room was a little tired and for instance our bedside tables had no sockets near them so unusable. "Loved the most the layout, design and location of the resort. The lighthouse design was so cute and like nothing we have stayed in before. There were only a few rooms on the property which made it feel secluded and peaceful. With a restaurant and infinity pool just 5 steps away from our rooms we couldn’t have asked for a better stay on koh Tao. Staff were so kind and helpful. "

"If you want a Robinson Crusoe holiday, Head Tien is as good as it gets if you still want an ensuite, a restaurant and a pool. Utterly charming place, could do a bit more on maintenance, cleanliness & shuttle options for the price, but the staff and location make up for any gaps. The snorkling is also great - shoals of large parrot fish chopping on coral. "Located in extensive grounds and within walking distance of bars and a beach, this place is a, good base for a stay on Koh Tao. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom adequate with toiletries provided. The pool is a pleasant area with loungers, umbrellas and even a few kids toys, and the free pick up from the pier was appreciated. It would benefit from some upgrade and housekeeping and cleaning definitely needs improving, but it offers a pleasant stay for a reasonable price. "

"This property is absolutely beautiful. However it is very remote in it's location. The road into the property is very difficult to travel and a long distance from town. With that being said if you are looking for a secluded quite spot this is perfect. The views from the villas are stunning."

"This stay was a dream. All the villas have private pools and kitchens. The bed was superb and the villa fantastic. You have a great degree of privacy and cannot see into the other villas. The owner Guy was very nice, great communication and arranged ferry tickets, snorkeling tour, and motor scooter all payable at the end of the stay. Highly recommend this place! "

"We were very well looked after during our stay. Views amazing, spacious living area and very comfortable beds. Our host quickly responded to queries regarding transport and restaurant recs. Only downside is it's a steep walk back! "
