"Wonderful residence stay in Kyoto! The room was clean, with great amenities and everything you need to cook simple meals. Comfortable beds and the location was great. The only negative was that it smelled and felt humid and damp but it was also very rainy all weekend so I don’t think it could be helped. Overall I would return! Thank you for the hospitality."

"As it mentioned before, the property is old. The room is cleaned, but the beds and the room are too small for 4 of us (3 adults and 1 child). Very generous in amnesty. Pyjama is provided. Very standard breakfasts are included with free drinks and ice cream. Too much noisy from the road (even at night time). The location is just good. Walkable but not that easy access to station. "

I misunderstood about the bedding and thought that the traditional Japanese bedroom was the default, so I was slightly disappointed when I realized that the western bedroom was the one that was prepared. But that's my fault for not clarifying ahead of time, and we still found the western beds to be very comfortable. "
