"We had a fantastic stay at Sugar Boat on our way up to the Highlands. The room was very comfortable, the staff were amazing and the food was great! Would definitely recommend! "

"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. "Sadly this hotel needs an update all round, the restaurant downstairs was great but the food wasn’t exactly great and to the description on the menu. Rooms are quite small, too warm, and Beds aren’t great. There isn’t many options in the Greenock area so this Hotel will always do well but a major refurb would help. "

"My room was cosy, had tea and coffee making facilities, a warm, clean and comfortable bed, a heater if i needed it and a wonderful view. The shower wasnt the best but the water from the sink was always hot. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were nothing but helpful and went out of our way to make our honeymoon trip special.
