"Arrived late night and the reception reply she doesnt`t found my fully paied booking with Hotel.com. When I checkout no one at reception and had to wait for like 20 minutes. The swimming pool is not clean enought. Building is quite old and make a lot noise especially bed. Not value for money will not come again."

"A unique place to stay and everything was great. The shower will not give you hot water and barely luke warm, the bed is also very firm. Despite these things, the room is great with the pool right off your balcony, very nice staff and a night food market just a 7-10 minute walk up the lane. Very quick to get to the airport. "

"Good for a cheap stay. Wasn’t staffed adequately- no one in the office when ever I went there. Lifts are between floors- so you will still need to lift bags up stairs. "

"Loved the location and staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Sizi at the front desk is so sweet and provided recommendations. Out room was always clean and towels were so soft. We loved the breakfast and pool. This is a great location to the gate, river, and all markets. "

"I loved my stay at the empress hotel Chiang Mai! The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was amazing with a great welcome package of water and chocolates and other goodies. So many restaurants, markets, and the night bazaar within walking distance. Would absolutely stay here again! "
