They should be able to provide some guidelines about the surrounding areas - e.g. in case of emergency they should know pharmacy, electric shop, shopping area etc. Even after asking repetedly for help and directions, the response was luke warm. "I had the huge top floor roof space. It was such a pleasant environment with so much room and a beautiful shower room. The velux roof windows showed off the surroundings to their utmost. The hosts were delightful and the fresh homemade jam at breakfast took me back to my childhood. Comfortable, calm, friendly with off-street parking and a real family feel. I’d love to go back. The Moroccan resto across the street was also delightful and excellent value. I used it as a base for an Olympic trip...

"A wonderful hotel in Versailles - great location, lovely atmosphere with diversity of places to dine, have a coffee, or work. The rooms are well appointed despite a slightly strange bathroom layout, and very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff is phenomenal. "We needed a decent room for the night to explore Versailles and this hotel was perfect for that purpose. Small quiet room with decent beds... a good nights sleep. Walking distance to everything with parking on site... and they let us leave the rental car in the parking lot until the afternoon so we had lot's of time to explore the palace in the morning before heading to our next destination. Great staff, great breakfast."

"Hotel was centric. We were able to walk to several landmarks including the Eiffel Towel. The room itself was comfortable. As family with small kid we appreciated having a washer/dryer in the suite. The breakfast was amazing; the lounge was a little small and felt little bit packed. The personnel speaks English and Spanish; very helpful with getting us information on transportation to move around Paris. "

"Was excellent value for money, room very basic but beds sink, table and a few hooks, but for a couple of nights thats all you need. Toilets and showers are on the same floor. The only thing i would fault reception staff very unfriendly, the only staff member that actually smiled at us is the gentleman looking after breakfast, very nice and friendly, asset to the hotel. Would recommend. "
