"This place is a hidden gem. We had a wonderful stay. It had everything we were looking for in Paris. Great location, plenty of sites, stores and restaurants right in the vicinity. Delicious breakfast every morning. Staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. Comfortable bed, nice sized shower with substantial water pressure, a wardrobe for each of us to store clothes. Highly recommend. "

"We booked Hotel Basile for its central location within Paris - just a few blocks from Palais Garnier and La Madeleine. The hotel itself was fine, no complaints! The room and bathroom were a bit small but since we only stayed for two nights, it was not a big deal and we were able to make do. The front desk staff were really lovely. "

It was not in a touristy area near the monuments but it was quiet, there was tons of dining and shopping (which was the focus of our trip) All the touristy activities were within walkable distance or a short Uber away. We really enjoyed this area of town for a girl's trip. "

"This was such a great find! Convenient and charming—this was a great location and you can’t beat the price. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and everyone was super friendly. The water pressure in the shower, though, might have been the biggest selling point. :) Room wasn’t huge but it was perfect for a trip that we spent almost entirely out and about anyway. Will definitely seek this place out when we head back! "

It had original features it was like we had been transported in time the lift was like something out of a movie. "It's a beautiful hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. Service was wonderful, from the front desk to breakfast staff to housekeeping. Although you do have to walk some to arrive to the nearest public transit stop/station, the neighborhood is easy to navigate and safe. I highly recommend this hotel for couples who want to visit and enjoy Paris. "
