"All of the staff were wonderful especially Frances. At breakfast, she created a warm, welcoming atmosphere every morning, there was always hot coffee, hot food, fresh fruit, and the space was always very clean!"

"Room was well laid out. Clean. Comfortable. Do not waste your time completing the pre-arrival information online. I did. When you get to the hotel you still have to fill out the exact same information. Reason? Oh, there's two systems. That's the reason for four stars. Otherwise it would have been perfectly great. "

"PROS - Nicely renovated hotel, and the room was large, clean and comfortable. It was quiet (though there were just a handful of guests in this off-season). The front desk clerk weekdays is very nice, and the management family is on-site all the time. Plenty of restaurants nearby but would suggest driving. CONS - Very run down and distressed area of West Macon; the corner Circle-K is swarming with homeless and rough lloking folks, and driving East towards town saw dozens of closed and...

"Everything was fine until my wife and I woke up and she found a roach crawling in the bed near her pillows. We also found a dead roach in the living room next to the refrigerator. I think that the exterminator needs to come into Room 418 and spray the entire room. Other than that everything else was fine. The Staff was very friendly."

"The hotel makes you feel like you are in a bigger city, but with small town hospitality. It is perfectly located in downtown Macon and walkable to many venues, restaurants, and bars. Valet parking only, but they are very attentive and polite. Highly recommend!!!"

"Beautiful room, in a beautiful, old (but updated) building, Fantastic bed (better than mine at home!) and clean. Excellent communication with the staff, both by email and phone. Walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants, Christmas lights...I went for the Christmas Light Extravaganza. The only part that was 4 stars instead of 5 was the area where you enter the building. It's in an alleyway and just isn't as safe "looking" as the rest of downtown Macon. "We travel with our dogs and this hotel makes it is easy to do so. We always get the room with kitchenette. The dog area is decent. This is a clean safe hotel for an overnight stay. Staff is always friendly. "
