"The atmosphere and energy was fantastic! My main complaint was the tactics used to try and sell their Premier membership. They wanted one hour of our time to explain the benefits, but it turned into 2 1/2 hours of high pressure salesmanship."

"The staff was amazing, literally from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Check out was at 12pm but our flight wasn’t until 7, they let us keep our bags at with them and still use the amenities in the hotel. Definitely will be back! "

"Requested a king size but didn’t get it. Requested a room with an ocean view but view from patio was blocked be concrete balusters. Food was very good. It wasn’t awful or anything just didn’t live up to expectations."

Entertainment was disappointing there were at least 3 nights of our week long stay where there was nothing in the evening at the resort, we have stayed a number of times at RIU las americas and always enjoyed our evenings with amazing shows. The new schedule with the RIU parties were not for us and saw numerous other guests disappointed as well with that as the only entertainment option. Daily pool entertainment was not good pretty...
