"Our stay was wonderful! We had a king-sized bed with a patio. The staff was polite and helpful. The only tiny problem was I looking forward to a dip in the hot tub, which was under construction and I wasn’t made aware until we arrived. The dining options were delicious if you don’t feel like venturing out. You can’t complain when the beach is just across the grounds. It was a peaceful vacay!"

"The free wine and cheese at happy hour was so convenient since we'd stop in before or after an outing to the beach, nearby State Street, or the Funk Zone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff were hard at work keeping the place organized and clean. Of all the places I have stayed at Santa Barbara, I think this was my favorite so far, especially for the competitive price."

"The room was very spacious and nice. Fortunately, they gave us a choice of which side of the hotel we wanted our room to be on when we were checking in. They said that one side receives more traffic noise, so I chose the quieter side. The hotel was within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and entertainment, which was great. The only negative thing I have to say is that the free breakfast didn't live up to the standards of everything else at the hotel. It is a very nice hotel. "
