"We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend! "

"Short overnight stay in Annecy France. The hotel is right at the train station. It’s a charming old building and despite appearances the rooms are modern and extremely clean. The staff are super friendly and the price is very good for the location. They have an excellent breakfast or there is a patisserie down-stairs if you just want to grab a snack. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and each time it has been very pleasant. Highly Recommend for the budget traveller."

"Good location along the lake. Nice 30 minute walk to the center along the lake. Free onsite parking with gate. Double room a bit tiny. Not much space along the bed. The pillows were so soft, almost flat, even using 2 of them, woke up with a sore neck. We didn’t use it but there was aircon in the room."
