"I took my husband for a Valentine's date night on Saturday. This charming hotel features an enchanting ambiance and delicious food. My only suggestion is to enhance the restaurant's atmosphere to create a more romantic vibe and good music to vibe with it. "We stayed here for a friend's wedding. The rooms were very nice, and the service was great. The bar was great, and the food in the beer garden was delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall was because of the parking. It was difficult to get to and very expensive. Of course, this was around Christmas, so that was a contributing factor. "Great stay in one of the cozy stone lodges. We stayed just one night but we met the other people staying our lodge and had a nice get together in front of the fire in the common room. Room was very clean; bathroom has an odd configuration. You can barely open the door to get in it (why not make the door swing out??) Very reasonable rate! The inn is gorgeous; nice restaurant and cafe."

" It was good for what we needed, outdated yet clean. I recommend they get room darkener curtains as the outside lights are bright and disrupted my sleep. They need a better breakfast. Beautiful view of the Hudson River."
