"The Ascott is an older style motel. The room was large, however the was not enough space to put your luggage except the floor. There were good drapes, so the room was dark at night, which helps with sleeping. the unit was clean apart from a few ants in the bath room "

"We stayed in a lodge and parking was just next to it. Bery easy for loading and unloading our staff. We left luggage for storage and picked them up after our visit to Tongariro National Park with no issue. The common area in the lodge is a little bit small for five adults to move around, but the rooms and number od beds are OK. "
