Hotels with Kitchenette in New Zealand

"Decent location, well appointed room but a little tired, amazing breakfast buffet! Top 10 in our 70 countries thus far. Room, lounge, chandlier restaurant all could have been a bit cleaner (especially compared to the rest of NZ hotels and restaurants which are typically spotless!). We arrived 15 min before 3pm and couldn't check into our room, so they took our bags and we had lunch. We checked in with them after eating to say we were going for a walk, NO PROBLEM they said, we'll certainly take your bags to your room, enjoy. 3 hours later we come back to no bags on the room. We went back downstairs to check, they can't find them?! Five minutes of searching they do, offering to call someone to take them up, no way! The place was packed with a wedding or something going on, no doubt it would be another hour if we did that. After 24 hours in transit just to get to NZ we needed fresh clothes! They dropped the ball there."

"We had a great stay here. We stayed two nights, really enjoyed having the kitchen for breakfast and dinner. It was clean and organized, with sections for your food based on your room. Fully stocked with plenty of dishes, cups, etc. the bathrooms were decent and clean. We would recommend and would stay here again! They also have laundry facilities which is helpful. It’s about a 7-10 minute walk into town and there’s a grocery store nearby that was fully stocked and cheaper than the one in the center. Thank you!"

"Mira (excuse spelling if wrong) on the front desk is worth her weight in gold. After a cycling accident (on first day of entire holiday) they got me hospital, were extremely supportive and reassuring. Because i was seen quickly (with the hotel arrangement and help). I was able to carry on my holiday and really enjoy it. I just recommend her and this place enough. I hope whoever runs the place sees this as tge hotel and its staff are first rate."
