"Nice pool, beautiful grounds. No consistency in room services. We got turn down service twice during the entire week stay. Our friends who booked the exact package got various toiletries and champagne, we did not. Drinks varied every time you got one, most of the time it was good thank goodness. Entertainment was meh at best. Miguel/Eddie was very fun when he was there. "

"We just spent a fabulous 2weeks at Riu Palace Las Americas. The buffet was the best of all options. Room service was great! The only problem was the girl who MC'd the evening shows didn't speak clear English so we couldnt understand her. We stopped going to the shows. That was so frustrating. They really need to replace her. For that reason only, we wouldn't go back there. "

"The food was excellent. Our favorite was the Mexican restaurant. The resort was extremely clean. They were even painting one of the buildings as im sure they constantly have to do. Having the resort located just a block away from 5th Ave was wonderful and convenient for nightly walks. The entertainment was very provocative and would have preferred something a little bit more wholesome "
