"This was my first stay in Punta Cana and I loved it. The property staff were helpful and attentive. There was a language barrier, but overall the property was amazing. Rafael and Maya from concierge were extremely helpful. The only downside of the property was the mosquitoes in the room. I kept getting bit, but that did not change my experience. I will definitely be back."

"The place was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room for our 3 adults 4 kids family (the 3 bedroom option). The view from the balcony was spectacular. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of stores right by the apt. Our kids also loved the private balcony pool. Just know that you will have to pay for your electricity usage. Comes out of your deposit. Wasn’t bad though. Also Daniel was highly communicative and very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"This is a lovely property and Elsa was a lovely host. I also engaged Franklin for some transport and he was very friendly, timely and an excellent driver. I was there for a multi-night concert at the Hard Rock and the location was perfect. Easy access to the venue and a quiet escape for my stay."

"This was a great choice for me and my family. This property is a private, exclusive golf club which makes it very safe. There are multiple check points to pass through and security guards patrolling the area at night. You will need transportation to get to the nearest town to do some exploring, restaurants and excursions but that was ok with me. I did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Sosua or Cabarete. You can always get a cab if you don’t have a car. We arrived three hours before...

"Overall, the stay was wonderful. Our apartment (2 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen was close to the beach (abt 50 mtrs). The area is very safe, walkable, nearby supermarket, plenty of restaurants. The apartment was neat, perhaps newly constructed. The window in one of the bathrooms had transparent glass and we covered it with towel. We reported to the property, hopefully they will fix it. "Excellence El Carmen has been the best resort i have visited to date! The staff is very friendly and professional. Our swim up room was amazing and fun to enjoy at all hours. We had delightful neighbors too so we made some friends! Excellence El Carmen has a host of restaurants and food available throughout the day and there wasnt a single meal that wasn't absolutely delicious! I'm an avid steak lover and enjoyed steaks at The Grill, Lobster House (surf & turf), and other and all of them were juicy and delicious. Every evening there were different fun events to jump into. Bars at almost every turn. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about Excellence El Carmen. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great adults only resort! "
