I didnt like the furniture in the rooms, the seat cushions were uncomfortable and the furniture on the balcony was hard. "The hotel itself was lovely. We found that the restaurant listed in the booking was actually only for breakfast and was closed the day we came. There is major construction going on nearby. The staff however made the stay worth it. They were able to hired a taxi for us and made recommendation where to eat. Please be aware that there are at least 2 flights of stairs that you will need to climb."

"Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars. "We booked Belizian Shores based on the reviews. This hotel is great and very family friendly. The staff were all very kind, flexible, and accommodating. The resort has a great pool and our kids loved it. It also has nice grounds and great amenities; we didn't have time to enjoy most of them, but other families seemed to like them.
