"Onsen was great"

"Location: 8-9 mins from the station so an easy walk. Staff: they were friendly and helpful. Hotel: clean, and has everything you need for a nice stay. It has an artificial onsen (spa) separate for men and women. Note coin laundries are located within the spa change area. Con: no signage at all for the coin laundry which others staying also struggled to find. Information is available via the room tv but you’ve really got to go through it to find that location info. Room: typical style for this chain hotel. Clean, fresh, with bathroom and shower unit. These rooms are the typical size which is fine.bed was comfortable. Water pressure is low but maybe a water saving thing which is fine, wasn’t a big deal. Room temperature is controlled centrally within the hotel, limited room control on it meaning you can’t change temperature, open a window if you need. We all feel temperature different so it was fine but I do prefer the option of how I like the temperature Food etc was all about 5 mins away. Plenty around the train station for people to enjoy. Toyama is really pretty. It’s surrounded by high mountains that were covered in snow and just looked so beautiful. I hope to get back and explore Toyama more in the future."

"The Hotel is in an excellent location, it is just across the road from Toyama Station & close to all the tram lines,shops & restaurants. The room is spacious, clean & the bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend the hotel breakfast, there is a choice of a traditional Japanese breakfast or a buffet breakfast. We tried both and they were excellent. Breakfast is the highlight of our stays at this hotel. We would like to pay a special mention to Mitsuru Matsui San ( Rico Monte restaurant manager ) for his hospitality, friendliness,attentiveness & great service for the three days, it was a very memorable experience. "Very kind staff and clean hotel. Wish there was a space for the luggages but we figured it out. Extended our stay because we enjoyed it. Breakfast is nice and peaceful. "

"The Hotel is an amazing Onsen, modern with a fantastic Breakfast the hot springs are to die for, they consist of 1 indoor and one outdoor baths, its got a Sauna and a ice bath, they offer Dinner Buffet for an aditional 8000¥ per person, the only things I did not like were : They do not offer room keeping at all, just change of towels if asked , The hotel is in Tonami, but isolated, meaning you can only go out by car, and there’s nothing to do ir see by foot, The wifi is decent and covers the whole property, but cell service is spotty."
