"This hotel was the hidden gem of our trip. I was tempted to give it a bad rating so it would remain hidden just for us! We had a view of the beautifully landscaped pool, the Atlantic Ocean, El Yunque rainforest, and the mountains all from our balcony. There are several restaurants on property and a number nearby offsite. Beautiful birds were displayed in several places. The hotel was decorated for Christmas. "We loved everything about the property. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive or good SUV to navigate the road to the property. But once you are there, you will be enchanted with the amazing property, the views, the pool and all of the magical forest sounds around you. Bring all your food and drinks and enjoy this amazing property. I wasn't able to add pictures to this review for some reason but you will be amazed at the interiors and views. "

"Smooth check in and out procedures. Property was clean and as expected but every time it rained (which was often) the window leaked leading to large puddles on the floor. We sacrificed most of our towels to keeping the floor and our belongs dry."

"This hotel was great for the price. My son and I had a great stay. The location was great, very secluded and private. The view is amazing. If you want to cook for yourself, the room has a mini kitchen and pans, etc. It is no frills, if you are looking for a Holiday Inn experience this is not it. This hotel was more of an authentic, local Puerto Rican experience. "

"I'm perplexed by the 1-star reviews, it seems like there's a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on. The people who complained about bird poop on the patio and mosquitos on the property right next to a tropical rain forest should wrap themselves in bubble wrap and never leave home again.
