"As much as I'd like to recommend staying here on your trip to bunny island, I cannot. The host did provide details for self check-in, but the property is in various states of disrepair. The AC is left off during the summer, so when we entered, it was hot and humid. The bathroom was left off as well and had accumulated mold. It smelled atrocious to the point we were pretty sure it would be a hazard to use it. I don't expect to incur any penalties, but the host also had many fee addendums...

"This is a great resort location but a little inconvenient and somewhat isolated. The rooms are spacious and well serviced. There is 24 hour staffing but limited to basic needs. There are no dining options at the location itself and nearby eating options are limited. The hotel offers free entry to a local onsen about 5-10 minute drive from the hotel. "A museum by Tado Ando changed for the right reasons into a hotel far away from no where... the air conditioning is so loud that makes you very uncomfortable sleeping with it’s grilling sound. If you’re a golfer, heavy sleeper and wished to stay a night in a museum that’s the place to be"

"Located in one of the most popular areas in Matsuyama, walking distance to the Castle Ropeway, Mitsukoshi Dept store and many other attractions. Easy public transport to Dogo Onsen by tram or bus. Lot's of eating options from cheap chain shops to specialty shops (sushi, yaki-niku, etc) Their public bath is a plus. Recommended."

"The hotel is really well located, near the city's shopping district. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The bath is really nice, and the view of the city is beautiful. I will definitely consider returning to this hotel if I get the chance."
