" We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal. The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. "Staff very friendly and helpful, peaceful setting, wonderful views from room, dining area and the pool, which was great! Place in ceiling where there has been a leak needs to be addressed due to what appears to be mold, but overall this was a wonderful restorative stay and we hope to return!"
