"We had a great stay at the Equatorial. We had kids also and the staff was friendly and helpful (sadly this is not the norm at all 5-star properties in Vietnam, so it was a nice experience). The pool is great, I would recommend a room by the pool. The food was also very food (slightly pricy compared to alternatives, but comparable). I would recommend this hotel as great option for visiting HCMC. "

"Staff was so friendly. I was so glad to having Cantonese speaking staff! At first I was using Google translate from Eng>VN. So much easier! Our flight was delayed due to visa hiccup but the staff took good care of me and my boy. Including one evening time staff who recommending me to a wonderful massage place around the corner and drove me there! They were always asking how my son was doing. So sweet. "We really enjoyed the location, in Cho Lon area, means no other foreigners than us in the hotel and in the area. The staff was really devoted and easy-smiling, gave us good info (about Grab, SIM cards, etc) . The room was very very clean. The only small point was the fact that this room (804) located at the top of the hotel was also next to the lift machinery : that causes a kling-klong noise when the lift reverses its course. But we easily survived (9-nights) since this lift is quite not used...

"Ants and lizards all over the hotel room. I check out after half a day of stay, and wanted my refund for the other days not stayed at the hotel. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone. If possible, they should be removed from Expedia."

"I've been staying there since years, the staff is really kind and always trying to accommodate your request. Rates increase in the last year but at the same time maintenance haven’t follow. Some lack of informations and service that was perfectly manged from the Front desk and from the Lounge staff."
