"This place is a dump. Do not stay here, and don’t trust the reviews that say otherwise! This place might have been great in the 90s, but that’s the last time anything was maintained and/or cleaned thoroughly. Our first room was dark and filthy, and located on the maintenance side of the property. So we went to the front desk to ask to get moved since most rooms were sitting empty. "This was one of our favorite stays in Portugal. The Inn is beautiful and clean. The staff is outstanding and the breakfast delicious. We loved that it was just short walk to the best sites and down into the town. We were so glad we spent the night rather than a day trip. It was quiet at night but we loved that! The train ride from Lisbon could not have been easier and it was a quick uber ride from the train to the Inn. We would definitely stay again. "
