"This place is a dump. Do not stay here, and don’t trust the reviews that say otherwise! This place might have been great in the 90s, but that’s the last time anything was maintained and/or cleaned thoroughly. Our first room was dark and filthy, and located on the maintenance side of the property. So we went to the front desk to ask to get moved since most rooms were sitting empty. "Unique and interesting property. We stayed 2 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. Weather was rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, but it looked lovely. Breakfast very good and our hostess congenial.
