"We arrived at the hotel just after midnight. From the street, it's hard to tell that there's even a hotel there. It's even harder to get in the door which is locked and requires a room key to access the entrance. Hard to have a room key when you haven't checked in yet. We had to follow another guest into the entrance. Not a nice neighbourhood to hang around in the street after dark. Otherwise, very neat and innovative rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff."

"I love everything about Citizen M. First of all location, easy walk from the airport. And then it’s all just so perfect, from easy self check-in to the coolest modern, clean and technical advance rooms. Every little space in the room is used and makes it so functional. The bed was super comfortable and felt amazing to sleep in and be rested for my long flight the next day. And let’s not forget their bar/restaurant which offers very tasty dining and cocktail options. "

"Very modern rooms. Bed was to my liking. The glass wall between bathroom and bedroom seems unnecessary but didn't deter from stay. Even with most lights on, it still felt dark. Couple of towels were missing but staff quickly brought more when I mentioned. Seeing as my room has basic kitchen it would seem appropriate to offer some basic cutlery. Had issues with grabbing shuttle from airport. Had to take taxi. Shuttle back to airport the following morning was good"

"Loved that the Eiffel tower is on your door step. Staff were kind and helpful. Room was clean, up to date, and bed was comfortable. Only downside was that walls were very thin and so I was woken early due to hearing other people's doors slamming. "

"great hotel. Rooms larger than typical Paris hotels and having a small kitchen was very practical. The room was very clean. The hallway was dated for sure but we didn’t feel the room was as dated as some of the other reviews seem to indocate. The location was very convenient close to metro and RER and walking distance to a lot of sites. I would definitely recommend. "

"Chose this location for ease of getting around it is literally next door to the train station and a direct route into centre of Paris and also Disney so perfect location for us as we wanted to do both. Didn’t explore the area itself but didn’t have any issues. Hotel staff were friendly. Complimentary drinks and snacks in room, handy fridge. Nice big shower and clean bathroom. Beds were clean and comfy. Can’t complain. Didn’t use restaurant or pool so can’t comment but all looked good. "

Excellent location in central Paris

"Wonderful staff at the reception desk! They were friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating. On-going renovations had no impact on our stay. Location in central Paris is incredibly convenient to the Chatelet Metro station, many key monuments/attractions, and local area offers many dining options. Would definitely stay here again."

"Our first family trip international on a foreign country. A little nervous. We had a great experience and felt safe in the neighborhood. We were trying to get home before 10:00pm. The hotel is located in a good area 7 min walking from Eiffel Tour. From there tourists can take Bus tours, boat tours, lots of places to visit. In a walking distance are grocery, stores, shopping mall in 2 blocks, trains. Bus is right at entrance of the hotel that makes easy to get places around the town. Help desk is very helpful and attentive to requests. "
