"The staff here go above and beyond, the ‘glamping’ experience was great. Food was really nice but quite expensive. The safari company run joint with the camp was amazing and extremely well run. The downside to this accommodation is that I would say it is only accessible via tuk tuk or car it’s not in walking distance to shops / other restaurants. "

"Such a lovely little place to stay for the night. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so kind and lovely, the home cooked food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. They also arranged a safari for us, we had a jeep to ourselves, and saw many animals (elephants, monkeys, mongoose). All in all a fabulous experience, and incredible value for money. "

"This was a great value. It is a beautiful property right by the river. The foliage is superb and the staff work tirelessly to keep the grounds clear of plant droppings. The only negative was the WIFI which try as they might it never worked consistently. "

"Planters House was fantastic! The team were all so lovely and welcoming, and the views are honestly to die for. Being located up in the mountains, surrounded by nothing but tea, was just beautiful and so peaceful. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, instead you order what you want at what time you want it, which is such a unique experience. As others have mentioned, the hotel is a Jeep-ride up a steep mountain which adds to the experience and sense of adventure. The hotel is a little rough...

"We had a fabulous stay! The place is so well maintained with all the good details. The owner Janik is such a nice person, he helps people and animals. Janik mother’s cook is super, the best food we had during our whole trip at Sri Lanka. 这个小旅店实在太好了，这个品质用这个价格住简直不可思议。老板Janik人非常非常好，认真对待每件事和身边每一个人和小动物。Janik妈妈做的饭实在是太好吃了，她开的餐馆曾经是Ella地区的餐馆第一名☝️，没想到我们能有这个口服，这两天的食物是我们在斯里兰卡十天中吃到的最好吃的饭了。旅馆外面是无边无际的甘蔗地，带上店里的三条小狗在田间漫步十分美好。本来只打算住一晚，到了以后直接又延了一晚，把在斯国的最后一晚也贡献给了这里。强烈推荐一定要来体验一下！"

"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. Now I’m trying to get my money back from Expedia. i got through on chat, Bupindher said someone from Expedia service would email me but they have not."
