"I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray! 100% would recommend, where else can you stay in the rainforest?!"

"The hotel is in a great location to visit the Orang Utans and Sun Bears. Its a relaxed hotel and the staff are really friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was great! Negatives - wifi is hit and miss so card payments not always possible. No ATM nearby but we changed cash at a nearby hotel. Food is sometimes buffet and sometimes a la carte but the staff dont know which it will be in advance so your stuck with what you get offered. It was tasty though. We stayed 4 nights and...

"Johnathan and all of the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Sorting and booking trips for us, helping us with local tips etc. The b and b is in the middle of the jungle, so please bear that in mind when you book, but is good value for the money."

"The accommodation and food was nice, we were let down by the tours and communication. The night walk was disappointing as we walked very close to our accommodation, so was not really the jungle walk we were expecting. However the river cruises were good, apart from being let down by our boat breaking down within the first 10 minutes of our tour and being stuck in the water for over 20 minutes. "Pros are proximity to the airport, and available free shuttle to the airport as well. Otherwise an average 2 star hotel. Cons Breakfast is a buffet style with Rice, Noodles and Vegetables, and Chicken. Eggs are boiled but almost RAW. You can toast your own bread with butter and jelly. Coffee is ok. The rooms are not very clean. Ours was a Non-smoking on the 4th floor, but it smelled like cigarettes. There is Hot water in the shower. Only one half used roll of toilet paper was available. The rooms are not very clean. Ours was a Non-smoking on the 4th floor, but it smelled like cigarettes. There is Hot water in the shower. Only one half used roll of toilet paper was available. You get bath towels, but no face or hand towels are available. The neighborhood around stinks like sewer but you can find a few places to eat. Overall the place is convenient for an overnight stay before your flight. "

I had to clean the bathroom before use and despite being given a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarettes was present I. The duvet, towels and there was cigarette ash all over the top of the toilet seat. Cigarette burns were present on the furniture. A local mosque is across the road and while we enjoy hearing the call to prayer, it was not so great to hear each session broadcast over mega-speakers outside. Every mic drop/exchange, everything and with single-glazed windows, we didn't get much sleep. Close to amenities though and staff are nice. "
