"My first solo adventure and I was a little anxious to say the least! I was given a warm welcome from Carlo and checked in straight away. I had room #3 on the bottom floor tucked away in the corner. "Great room, helpful staff WHEN they were available. Front desk closes at 6:30. I had told them beforehand that I would arrive around 7. My boat into town was half an hour late. I got a message on Whatsapp at 6:57 that the desk would close at 7. I arrived about 7:30 and someone did come back to check me in. Then about an hour later I managed to lock myself out of my room (I know, I know). I messaged and in about 5 minutes, I got a response that they would return in about an hour and some minutes....
