Undoubtedly one of the most incredible routes on the Costa Verde.

The route starts near Porto da Ribeira, passing by Ribeira and Flamengo beaches.

Once at Praia das Sete Fontes, after a brief rest and hydration, we'll set off on the trail that leads to the cave.

Arriving at the cave is another surprise: a stretch of rocky coastline where, on calm days, you can take a good dip in the translucent sea that opens up in front of the cave, and where, supported by ropes, we will descend to the cave entrance. ‍☠️

With the help of lanterns, you can explore two halls along a length of 50 meters, where stories of hidden slaves, escaped prisoners and even pirate treasure enrich the imagination.

• An important recommendation is to wear pants and a long-sleeved shirt, as the trail has razor grass vegetation and cuts and scratches are inevitable.

• You should also bring a flashlight for a better experience inside the cave. As well as light food, sunscreen and insect repellent.
