Know before you book

  • Pick up details will be sent to you by email within 24 hours after receiving the booking. Kindly make sure you have inserted the hotel name or accommodation address on your booking.
  • If your hotel or specific accommodation pick up is not available we will provide a near meeting point.
  • Hotel pick up transport is made with a driver, on a bus or minibus, previous to tour start time. The driver will take you to the meeting point where the guide will receive you and start the tour.
  • The pick up time will depend on guest's hotel location in Algarve.

What you can expect

This tour is for those who would like to see the real Algarve, its hidden villages, its beautiful countryside and a chance to see the Algarve and its people as it has been for centuries before.

We start off with a visit to one of the highest parts of the Caldeirão mountains with a short coffee stop with fantastic views.

We then carry on into the hills with stops at various villages with handicrafts being demonstrated.

We visit the historical villages of Querença, Salir and spend the afternoon in Alte, the most typical village of Algarve.

Lots of stops and information on the fauna and don't forget your cameras.
