Marco our guide was excellent as well as lalo our driver. Super fun and informative! However we went to a small family owned cave restaurant that food was not great. I understand its a family home no shame in that but the description mentioned we were going to la gruta and was very disappointed.

The overall experience was positive. Our tour guide was highly knowledgeable and friendly. We were transported in a sprinter van equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable ride. The itinerary included several stops, allowing ample time for photographs. However, the cave restaurant listed as “Mictlán Restaurante Subterráneo” in the itinerary was not the same as the one found online. Unfortunately, I did not note the actual name of the restaurant we visited. While the portions were generous, the food was average and somewhat overpriced. Additionally, the cave itself was relatively small. Despite this, I would still recommend the tour given its value for the price. The company offers pick-up from most major hotel locations, but it is important to note that all participants are dropped off at a single location at the end of the tour. Those staying outside the Reforma area will need to arrange their own transportation, such as an Uber, back to their hotel, which may be inconvenient. Just be sure to read the itinerary in detail.

Overall, Itzel did a wonderful job. She was knowledgeable and had an extremely friendly demeanor. My group had a lot of questions and she answered them all very patiently, with a touch of humor even. She went above and beyond to make food, drink and other touristy (yet custom) recommendations for the rest of my stay at Mexico City. I highly recommend booking with Itzel, you wont regret it

This tour was seriously an amazing experience. Highly recommended for anyone in the Mexico City area. I learned so much about the history and culture of Mexico and native civilizations of the area. Our driver, Victor, handled the traffic with ease and our tour guide, Allen, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic during the whole tour. I seriously cannot recommend this tour enough!

One of the best tours we’ve been on! We are pretty well traveled and love taking historical tours of all kinds and this was certainly one of the best ever. Alan was so kind and extremely knowledgeable about the Mexican history and archeology. Very personable experience! And our driver Brian was also very accommodating and very kind! His driving was also exceptional.
