What to Expect
We'll meet in Syracuse (SR), 10 minutes before your chosen start time. Our friendly instructor will be there to greet you and lead you on this exciting canoe adventure.
Once everyone has arrived, we’ll kick things off with a concise 10-minute briefing on proper paddling techniques. After that, it’s time to hit the water!
We’ll paddle together along a 3 km route, starting from Syracuse and heading toward Ortigia. Along the way, you’ll get an up-close view of the Umberto I Bridge, Fonte Aretusa, and Maniace Castle.
After circling the island, we’ll head to the sea caves of Syracuse, where you’ll explore the Cappuccini Cave, Coral Cave, and Stalactite Cave (also known as the Grand Cave). The tour includes at least one swim stop at a prime spot selected by the instructor.
After about 1 hour and 45 minutes on the water, we’ll return to the meeting point. The entire experience lasts around 2 hours.
