Vincent van Gogh lived and worked for two years in Nuenen, from 1883 to 1885. During his stay, he produced almost 25% of his total work and painted his first world-famous masterpiece the “Potato Eaters”.

In the Van Gogh Village Museum, you will hear all about Van Gogh and read his own stories about Nuenen. Understand why he was so passionate about this village and the surroundings of Eindhoven. Also, during his time in Nuenen, Vincent gave lessons. Discover a unique collection of original artworks by four of Vincent's students. In the village itself, there are 24 locations that have a direct link with Van Gogh. Together, they form a walking and cycling route with interactive informational signs in Dutch and English.
