What you can expect

Ascend to the Golan Heights via Hamat Gader on the southern end of the Heights, while overlooking the astonishing view of the Sea of Galilee. Your tour will also stop at a great viewpoint over the triangular border of Israel, Jordan, and Syria.

We'll continue to Katzrin, the modern capital of the Golan, alongside the excavated city of the Talmudic period, second to fifth centuries. Then we'll visit a great museum that displays many of the archaeological finds from the Golan, including a Chalcolithic dolmen.

Next, we'll explore the former Syrian fortifications on Mount Bental and overlook the Syrian town of Kuneitraand Kuneitra Valley - and even visitthe Jordan River.
