Surrounded by lush green hills and soaring mountains, Jinvali Reservoir spans an area of about 26 square kilometers, creating a serene and picturesque landscape. The lake's creation was a result of the construction of the Jinvali Hydro Power Plant, which aimed to harness the Aragvi River's hydroelectric potential.

Your next stop along the way is the Ananuri Fortress, a medieval architectural complex situated on the picturesque shores of the Zhinvali Reservoir. After that you will reach Gudauri - Gudauri is a popular mountain resort town located in the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range of Georgia. Situated at an altitude of approximately 2,200 meters above sea level, Gudauri offers a breathtaking alpine environment, world-class ski slopes, and a range of outdoor activities.

Continuing the journey, you drive through the famous Georgian Military Highway, a historic route that has connected Georgia with Russia for centuries. The highway offers stunning vistas, with towering peaks, deep gorges, and verdant valleys stretching as far as the eye can see.

Next, you arrive in the village of Stepantsminda, the main hub of the Kazbegi region. The village is located at the foot of Mount Kazbek, one of the highest peaks in the Caucasus Mountains.
