Overview

Our sit-on-top kayaks can be used by individuals with no experience for a fun exploration of scenic coastlines in Cyprus. Aphrodite's Rock is a huge highlight of the trip, and so are other rock formation, some of which (White Cliffs - at points 100 - 150 m tall) are only found west of Pissouri bay in Cyprus. Except for Aphrodite's Rock itself, we will be probably largely alone, in the company of water birds like seagulls or cormorants.

Maximum expected exploration time (pick-up from):
Meet at the beach upto 6 hours
Aphrodite's Rock kiosk upto 5 hours
Limassol - upto 4 hours

Max six kayakers at any time if we give a free ride, or six kayakers if we meet at the beach.

As these are private trips, how far we kayak, in this '8 - shaped' route (the default is about six km) will depend on the sea, kayakers profiles and preferences.
As always in our kayaking trips, if the weather is expected to be bad we cancel the trip.

Travelers get the opportunity to explore the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite from a whole different prospective, by sea. There is a lot more than meets the eye from land, especially a number of nearby rock formation in the sea besides the Rock itself. For those who prefer to, we can land on the beach and they can also explore the Rock by land.
Prolimnos Beach (Dog's Beach)

The actual attraction is the rock formations both towards the west and also towards the east of this secluded beach. One can enjoy the view of White Cliffs very close to this pebble beach, as well as peculiar limestone rock formations towards Aphrodite's Rock as well as magma related (dark brown or grey) rock layers that are related to the way the island was created (more typical of higher elevation on Troodos mountains), in the midst of limestone or chalky rock layers.
