Imagine finding yourself in the middle of a subtropical forest with exotic birds flying freely around you. This movie-like scene can be found at the entrance to Iguazu National Park, near the Iguazu Falls, at one of the most attractive places in the world.

Once you board your conveniently scheduled transportation from the lobby of your hotel, make your way to the bird park, where more than 900 colorful birds await. With 150 different species to be seen along its 4,900-foot (1,500-m) path, this sanctuary offers an ideal setting to appreciate its residents in their natural habitat.

Head down to the African Savannah section to discover some rare, colorful birds, and continue to the Macaw sanctuary to mingle with its inhabitants. Have your camera ready at the Pantanal section, as parrots and toucans are more than willing to let you get close for a picture.

You can also visit the reptiles section and meet several species of snakes, lizards, and caimans before stepping into the butterfly section to observe these delicate yet magnificent creatures fly freely.
