With its abundant geothermal springs, Beppu has earned a well-deserved reputation as a hot spring paradise. Among the many attractions in Beppu, the “Beppu Jigoku Meguri” (Hell Tour) is a must-see for visitors. "Umi Jigoku" is best known as the sea hell. The striking blue color is a natural phenomenon caused by sunlight reflecting off particles in the water. It is the largest and most popular hell in Beppu!
