What you can expect

Your Antelope Canyon Tour starts off with a scenic and narrated ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona, through Oak Creek Canyon (from Sedona - one of the top 10 scenic drives in America) and through the towering Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff.

After meeting our guests from Flagstaff, your Antelope Canyon Tour will take you past the dormant volcanoes which make up the San Francisco Peaks and through the Navajo Nation. Throughout your travels, you'll receive informative and entertaining narration about the areas through which you pass from some of the most experienced and knowledgeable tour guides from Sedona and Flagstaff areas. Travel through the Navajo Nation as our guide shares with you stories of this ancient culture and information about the amazing geology and vistas along the way.

Once driving across the Navajo Nation, you will have time to walk out on the unpaved path to see Horseshoe Bend, an astounding and iconic viewing vista. After this you will continue to be dazzled by vistas and views as you get to see Glen Canyon Dam and the southernmost point of Lake Powell.

Upon your arrival in Page, Arizona, you will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch is included in your tour. After which, it will be time to meet your Navajo guide for a spectacular tour of Antelope Canyon at the Canyon X site. As the angle of the sun changes, you opportunity for photos change. Walk with the Navajo through the curves of this red rock slot canyon. Visitors often fill their memory cards and use up all their films. Bring extra! Occasionally sounds of flute music echoes off the walls. Not only is this location visually stimulating, it is a cultural experience as you travel through the Navajo Reservation as our guide shares with you stories of this ancient culture and information about the amazing geology and vistas along the way.

SPECIAL NOTE: There are several slot canyons in Antelope Canyon. We have selected Canyon X due to its beauty and less crowded than its sister slot canyons.

After your tour, you'll begin your return trip from Antelope Canyon. You'll pass by the western edge of the Painted Desert as you re-cross the Navajo Reservation for a brief stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post.
