Embark on the adventure of a lifetime with the Amazonas Express. During this three-day, two-night journey down the Amazon river, you’ll visit small indigenous villages and meet the Ticuna, Yagua, and Cocama families, who will be your hosts and share the most interesting stories of the region. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit Tarpato Lakes where dolphins live and Puerto Nariño. The Amazonas Express is a complete experience that will allow you to explore the region with the world’s highest biodiversity and truly discover the beauty of the Amazon rainforest.
Day 1
Departure from Leticia at 8 a.m.

Night walk with observation of nocturnal wildlife
Visitors have the possibility to choose between spending the first night in a jungle camp; a house of an indigenous family or a night in the cabin of a Natural Reserve.
Day 2

Sighting of monkeys and other early morning animals

Navigation on the Amazon River to Puerto Nariño
Arrival in Puerto Nariño at 4-5 p.m.
Sunset observation at the lakes of Tarapoto

Visitors have the possibility to choose between spending the second night in a cabin in front of the Tarapoto Lakes and spending the night in a Hotel in Puerto Nariño.

Note
At request of the visitors it is possible to spend the nights in cabins or camping in the jungle. The menu of meals may vary according to the season and the preferences of the visitors. The guide service is provided by local guides from the region.
