There is a mold issue in building 2 for the SunScape Curacao Hotel based on the same stark stink smell from one room to the next. Upon arrival, the greetings were welcoming. However, the room is below par. The first room had the following problems: room smells, mosquitos in the room, A/C not working, and the remote not working. The second room had the same mold smell. This is unacceptable for any hotel to provide. Furthermore, the manager, Pedro, came in the room to investigate my claims and confirmed the issue was unacceptable. He offered a third room, but he stated it also had a smell. The following day, the toilet made a persistent loud noise. Maintenance came to fix the issue, but the noise continued a minute later. We were then offered a fourth room, and I asked for a refund. As a result, we left the day. We are extremely displeased with this reservation. I anticipate compensation for this continued inconvenience. Two things could have improved our experience of the faulty facility. A room in a different building since the issue was persistent in all the rooms offered in building 2 and compensation for the inconveniences.
