"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. "Stormy weather closed in from the West and we chose this hotel as a halfway point between home and our destination to break the journey. The following morning, staff were very friendly and helpful looking up local weather and road reports for us and offering to extend our stay if needs be. The restaurant was very pleasant, the food well presented and tasty."

"This is less a hotel, and more bed and breakfast. I was disappointment by not being able to drop a bag before check-in and the limited breakfast options. But the room was very comfortable, warm, and clean. The standby light from the TV was bright, but this is my only complaint with the actual room."

"Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. "Fabulous! A truly relaxing home from home, with friendly and professional staff. We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didn’t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease. We really enjoyed the warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere downstairs , the character of the place and tasteful interiors, and last, but not least, the delightful christmas tree in the dining area! "The giant bay windows facing out onto the 'prom' and the Irish Sea beyond was stunning. The moon came out for us at one point as well. Exquisite. However, the Hotel's bar and restaurant facilities were closed, which was disappointing. Luckily there were options just down the road at the Glengower. "
