"Very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location in historic, architecturally interesting area. I particularly liked to chill at poolside after long walk, looking over the sea. Many restaurants are at walking distance and bus stops and ferry terminal are very easy to access. My only complaint is I could not find a shoehorn. "

"Incredibly unique property that used to be an old herb shop now tastefully refurbished into a boutique hotel. They kept all the old stuff from years past on display, and while it had modern amenities it still maintained that old charm. Highly recommend!"

"Arrived late on the check in date but was greeted with tea time even though it was after tea time session. stay was excellent with clean and quiet bedroom. breakfast was great as well with mixture of local and western food. overall a great stay within a great location. things to improve: cant lock toilet door, and the sliding door is noisy. parking is also inconvenient."

"Nice hotel with a lot of charm. Well located, in walking distance of everything interesting in Georgetown. The rooms are big with nice furnitures. Sound isolation is not super good but can be managed with ear plugs. Breakfast is not really a plus. Food choice is limited and you can eat great local breakfast arround the hotel. We didn’t try the restaurant for supper. "

"Charming boutique hotel with lush greenery offering plenty of little cozy areas to relax. A little oasis in the middle of the historic town. Staff members on site, Nick, Janet, Kee and Shipun were wonderful. Breakfast was included but options were limited but the hotel is minutes away from awesome local delights. Be sure to sample the infamous Penang Char Kway Teow (flavourful fried flat noodles) and the delicious white coffee (and more)! Great location! "

"This is probably one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Even better, it is in a perfect location to explore Georgetown, while still being quiet and peaceful. Moreover, the staff are getting excellent and accommodating. They helped us plan trips to the national park and gave invaluable advice. The hotel restaurant is also excellent. In particular we loved the roti canai at breakfast. I cannot recommend Muntri Mews enough, and I hope to return. "

"When we checked in we do not check on the access card because we expected it to work. But we went out and came back at 12:30am and we cannot enter. We called the front desk and no answer.
