"Loved my stay at this small and very friendly motel. Room was extremely comfortable and well-supplied. A little kitchenette allowed me to do a bit of cooking. I was in Opua for Sailing Week and the motel was within easy walking distance of the marina, which has a general store where I got groceries. The motel is not on the water, but has a view of the ocean and a nice outside sitting area. Marnie and Rich were quick to offer help with whatever I needed, genuinely kind, gracious, and generous....

"we had the unit just beside the office ,facing the road but it was not too noisy.Unit was old but clean enough.Kitchenette a bit small but manageable except for the position of the microwave.Needed to stand on a chair to reach it."

"The Motel itself and staff were excellent. The room was really clean and comfortable for the two of us. Pool and hot tub were great. The shower was fab! A little bit of noise in the mornings from the road but nothing much to worry about. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pier. Side note- was nothing to do with the motel and they have complained about it but one of the nights there was a group of youths on the beach with their cars and loud music which went on till 4/5am....

"Excellent stand-alone cabinz situated walking distance from restaurants, shops, beach & ferry jetty. Cabinz contained all you need with a lovely big verandah deck to relax on while admiring the view of the bay.. Definitely would stay again."

"We tried booking beachfront hotels but when we saw this place, we instantly knew that it will offer us better accommodation. The view was spectacular from the room. The area was quiet the place feels like home. Very comfortable and to top it off, the delicious homemade breakfast by the owners. They were very accommodating and entertaining at the same time. It was our first time in Paihia and it did not disappoint us. Will definitely book this accommodation on our next visit."
